From 22k images in Photos library found only 11k.

The App finds 163 duplicates pictures but doesn’t put them in the « Duplicate Marked Photos album ».

This version is great. It’s easy to use, very well explained, with tutorials inside the app, and it works as promised. The auto mark features are smart enough to decide to exclude lower resolutions, lower DPI etc (you can customize plenty of options!) and it separates all photos in a duplicate album so you can delete the ones you decided to mark. I spent a lot of time searching for something like this and this is the only app which can check for duplicates on the Photos app in a timely fashion (I found another one which is more expensive and takes 6 hours to mark 600 photos as duplicates, and even failed midway! This one did the job in 6 seconds. Highly recommended.

I was surprised with the speed of it. It was used just a few times but worked like a charm finding similar and identical pictures to be deleted. A few areas of improvements would be an easy way to see the path of the matches (not one at a time) AND the ability to move the chosen one to the place of a selected delete. For example if it finds a match a folder called /1987-April/ and another in /unclassified/, If I choose the one in unclassified, it would save me a lot of effort if I could pich the on in unclassified and have it replaced the one I discarded on 1987-april and so forth. Hope this helps in making it even better.

I import a lot of photos to iPhoto at MacBook and after buy this app to check all photos. I don’t know if corret, but, i think this app check only 29624 photos at limit. Please review and inform if correct this information.

I have lots of photos and I should click every one to trash them. In adittion, I have to click in the box… Make it more difficult. Why not I click in the area of the photo? For my surprise, after I finished to trash some photos they appeared again. Is it normal? Or, would be others pictures in different folders? I think that should works like that: The group of photos appears and I choose the older or the recent date founded and the program keeps just one photo of the indicated day and delete others. In case of many duplicates photos it would be faster. I’m afraid to click in Auto Mark and delete all the pictures at the same time. Anyway the app is very useful and good.

Dachte zunächst, das Programm macht was es soll, aber leidder musste ich feststellen, dass es Bilder als doppelt erkennt und zum löschen vorschlägt, die eindeutig nur einmal in der Photo-Library vorhanden sind. Ob das am Prog liegt oder an der Photo-App: keine Ahnung, aber so ist es leider unbrauchbar Support leider nur per Telefon (Indien!) kein email! Sorry, absolutely not working with Photo App! The app definitely shows fotos as duplicate, which are only once available in the Photo Library. I double checked this manually, also when you select „show in finder“ for the identified fotos, it does show for both versions the exactly same file in the library package. Lucky enough the app cannot totally delete fotos but only move them to the recently deleted album whithin Photo, so I was able to recover all of those which I deleted in my first try, when I thought the app would function as supposed to function. Beside this: the German translation is a nightmare.

Tried to import my Fotos Database, but it says „no pictures inside“. There is no support adress on the homepage. only a number somewhere in the US (?) Any ideas?

Works good enough for Photos app. Very useful. It would be better if I could modify Auto Mark rules more freely.

Gemini kept on telling me on repeated scans that there were no duplicates in Photos, while in All Photos it was obious that there were indeed many. Then I switched to this app and lo and behold more than two thousand duplicates appeared. Very grateful to the developers, thanks a lot.

The app quickly recognizes duplicates but these are not getting deleted (although reported delted) if files are located on a network share. Please fix asap. Thx.
