WOW !!! all i can say is it works like a charm…

Download - Check Put in photo library - Check Press check for duplicates - Check no duplicates. I set all settings to be the most inclusive and time consuming. Took 3 seconds. found 4 duplicates. Tried again. same 4 duplicates… Waste of my time money and HD space

This program eliminates some duplicates. However, if the images are in different parts of the same library, they were not recognized. I had been using the setting for exact matches, but this last time I used the one for near matches. I had taken a magazine cover and inserted images for 12 different dogs on 12 separate covers. The near match selected all the magaine covers despite all the different dogs. However, it did not identify the original dog image as a near match for the identical image on the magazine cover. Maybe there is something I am missing on activating this program to scan for duplicates, but this program was not very helpful to me. I rated this program a two star rather than one or zero because it did show me the duplicates that were next to each other in the library.

In order to make a long history short I will start saying that getting organized almost 2 TB of Videos and Photos from different devices (Phones, Tablets, PC, Mac) with different OS is not an easy task. After reading reviews and searching over Internet I have bought Gemini (which usually crashed my Mountain Lion system), then I bought Twins mini and other I just dont remember (for the sake of not reviving my frustrations). Not advancing at all, I found this app and I gave it another try… pluff!!! THIS IS THE APP AVOID THE OTHERS AT ALL COST!!! is so amazingly fast, and it can find photos "alike" with different resolutions… and FORMATS!!!, size, etc, it just simply work!!!

I had 20G duplicate photos. All gone & space freed up.

I’ve tried Power Photos, Photo Sweeper, Duplicate Detective and none have been as useful as this app. It was very good at identifying photos that are very similar, which is useful because I am often taking continuous shots and just need the best of the bunch. Buy this while it is only $0.99!!

Failed ot search my library for duplicate videos, despite marketing and recent update.

Description of product states it scans images regardless of size or format. I was not able to scan canon or nikon raw images. Worked well for jpg images in folders. Never tested with iPhoto or Photos.

Exact match found a few, but when I set near matches and set the match % to be very close it caught a lot more actual duplicates.

I am a new Mac user, I am not new to I Phone , I Pad, and I Pod. The Mac has been a trial and error with much error I must admit. The other Apple products were a breeze. In the last week or so I have spend much money trying to find a program that would eliminate the MANY duplicate photo’s. I saved my photos on my HP desktop, my HP laptop, I guess u get it, everywhere. And not always on each. This program is a lifesaver for me, works like a charm**** I called for help… More wonderful news, someone that I could actually understand walked me tharough the entire process. I cannot wait until they add music and video. I will gladly pay for the upgrade.

Full of ads. The only “pro” feature in this app is the ad delivery. I don’t do forced ad consumption. Find another sucker.

It’s tedious to go through all of my duplicates, but this app makes it tolerable. I’m able to see which of 2-3 copies has the largest file size (jpg) and save it over the others. I recommend this app.

Worked pretty well once I upgraded from the free version. I will still need to tweak the settings a bit to find everything.

I had a real mess of photos covering multiple computers (Mac and PC) and I even think Google Picasa created some drama with duplicating files over time! Either way, I had a mess. This app did exactly what it said. After it found the duplicates, I was worried how it would ‘auto flag’ the one to delete, but even there it did like yoy would hope/expect by keeping the higher quality photos. Great job!!

Excellent at finding duplicate photos

Tried a dozen times. Had over 500 duplicate pictures found. Tried deleting all—even one by one—and all remain. Update: after two days, figured out how to delete “duplicate marked photos via COMMAND + A, then right-clicking on one photo to select delete “x” photos.

I just downloaded the pro version of this with high hopes that it could help me sort through my VAST photo library on iPhoto, however whenever I try to select that library I get a pop up window that states that it is unable to do so since it must be iphoto 1.9 or higher? I am wondering if this is a bust or if there is a way to fix this since all my photos are in the new version of iPhoto?
